Our Team Profiles
As a family we have always seen the value in having our kids be directly involved in a sport – rather than pretending to take part by playing video games. A few years ago while being spectators at a CSRA event, Erik was fascinated by the sport and told his father that he wanted to ride snowcross. So his father went out and found him a 120 and the rest is history. Our son Erik has just completed his 2nd season with the CSRA, and has always been a bit of a daredevil. He displayed an early aptitude and dexterity for physical activity especially involving vehicles. He has grown up riding snowmobiles by himself since the age of 2 and rode his first dirt bike when he was 3 with basic instruction. Our youngest son Christian is much more analytical in nature, and as we wanted him to pick his own sport we waited till he told us what he wanted to do and he announced to us in 2013 that he wanted to race in the next race season and the rest is history.
Being able to travel to the events with the CSRA has been an incredible opportunity for us as a family. In sports such as this, the families are the pit crews, we are the coaches, we are the mechanics and we get to be there with our kids through all of their high and low points as well. It is amazing to be able to spend so much quality time with our kids and truly gratifying to see them having so much fun. We love being able to watch both Erik and Christian riding snow cross and are so proud of all that they have been able to accomplish. Racing isn’t always sunshine and roses, but at the end of the day we know that we have all put forward our best effort and that we are building memories for our boys that they will carry with them forever.
We have been fortunate to have Doug and Debra Graves in our lives. Debra started as our fantastic sitter for our kids (and still is) and then eventually Doug who works as a mechanic became involved in trying to help set up the sleds for racing as we weren’t having much luck on our own. Doug’s mechanical gift has been a godsend for both Erik and Christian. It has allowed their abilities as riders to shine thru given that they now has great equipment to operate. Our goals for the upcoming season is #1 to have fun as a family at the CSRA events, but also to help our boys do what they love to do – and go as fast as they can safely around the snow cross track. We are hoping to do as many races on the circuit as we can this coming season, and therefore also give our sponsors as much exposure as possible. Christian will be racing in the 120 stock 2 and Briggs Improved class and Erik in the 120 Briggs Improved and Champ classes and also in Transition and Novice A.

The team of EC Williams Racing just completed the final race event of the season with the CSRA at Horseshoe Resort just north of Barrie this past weekend. The three day event began on Friday with misty and cool conditions, followed by incredible sunshine and warm temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. It was great to see our snow cross family once again at our home track event at Horseshoe. Read more..

The team of EC Williams Racing travelled to Georgian Downs in Innisfil for the most recent race event with the CSRA this past weekend. Georgian Downs always promises to be a great event and once again this year did not disappoint. Erik and Christian always love the opportunity to ride in front of their friends and family at one of their home town events. Thanks to everyone who were able to make it out.
